NOTHING’S LIKE ZERO
ZERO was formed by Kimock and Anton in 1984, has recorded eight albums, performed over 1300 concerts to date and has become a San Francisco musical institution. Zero continues to perform and record and in 2018 they recorded “Jam in See” available on the Out of the Fire benefit album. The words of Zero’s original vocal songs are written by Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter. They’ve been joined onstage by a host of Bay Area luminaries; Martin Fierro, John Cippolina, Pete Sears, Nicky Hopkins, Jerry Garcia, Derek Trucks, Donna Godchaux, Banana, Melvin Seals and many many others.
“Zero can put the whammy on a crowd. I’ve seen a lot of crowds in my life, but they can do something that I’ve never seen” -Robert Hunter
